Itinerary

On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Hwange National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). After check-in at your lodge or camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive where Hwange’s famous elephant herds and predators make their first appearance. Dinner and overnight in the park.

Start your day with a sunrise game drive, the best time to spot lions and other predators on the move. Return for a hearty brunch before relaxing at camp. In the afternoon, head out again to explore Hwange’s open plains, teak forests, and waterholes. Sundowners in the bush bring the day to a close.

Enjoy a final morning game drive before leaving Hwange. You then transfer back to Victoria Falls in time to join a sunset Zambezi River cruise. Watch as hippos, crocodiles, and elephants line the riverbanks while the sky glows with evening light. Overnight in Victoria Falls.

This morning, take a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. In the afternoon, you can choose from optional activities such as a helicopter flight, cultural village visit, or thrilling adventure sports. Overnight in Victoria Falls.

After breakfast, transfer across the border into Botswana (about 1.5 hours). Arrive at your lodge on the Chobe River and settle in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first boat safari, drifting past elephants swimming across the river and hippos resting in the shallows.

Begin the day with a game drive inside Chobe National Park, home to lions, leopards, buffalo, and large elephant herds. Return for breakfast and relax at camp before heading out again in the afternoon for another boat safari, which offers incredible photographic opportunities at sunset.

In the morning, transfer to Kasane Airport for your flight to Maun and onward light aircraft transfer into the Okavango Delta. On arrival, settle into your wilderness camp and enjoy a late afternoon safari activity, such as a mokoro excursion or guided walk.

Spend the day exploring the Delta on morning and afternoon activities. Depending on your camp’s location, you may enjoy mokoro rides through the waterways, game drives in open vehicles, or guided walking safaris. Wildlife includes elephants, antelope, hippos, and an abundance of birdlife.

Another full day in the Okavango brings more opportunities to spot predators like lions and leopards as well as rare species such as the sitatunga. The contrasting landscapes of floodplains, forests, and lagoons provide a stunning backdrop to your safaris. End the day with a sundowner in the bush before returning to camp.

After a final morning activity and breakfast at camp, you take a light aircraft flight back to Maun Airport, where you connect with your onward travel. Your safari ends with unforgettable memories of Zimbabwe and Botswana’s most iconic destinations.
