Itinerary
You will be picked up from the hotel at Victoria Falls and transferred to Hwange National Park where you will check in at Hwange Safari Lodge. A welcome game drive will be awaiting you. After dinner, you will go for elephant tracking by moonlight at 20h30
Today we wake up early in the morning for the main course of our 3 days safari in Hwange national park. Spend a full day immersed in the wild heart of Zimbabwe with this guided game drive through Hwange National Park, starting and ending at the renowned Hwange Safari Lodge. This experience is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone eager to encounter Africa’s iconic wildlife up close.
Your adventure begins early with a pick-up from Hwange Safari Lodge, followed by a full-day safari in an open 4×4 safari vehicle led by a professional guide. Explore a variety of ecosystems — from Kalahari sands and mopane woodland to open grasslands and natural waterholes — where you may spot elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, antelope, and more than 400 bird species.
Midday, you’ll pause at a shaded picnic site inside the park for a packed bush lunch before continuing your wildlife search in the afternoon. The game drive ends with a return to the lodge in the late afternoon, just in time to relax and enjoy the evening.
On the last day, we do a wrap-up game drive at 05h45 in an effort to spot anything we missed on the
previous game drives. We drive for 3 hours before we go back to the lodge for breakfast. We expect
to leave the lodge at around 1100hrs back to Victoria falls and expect to arrive around 1400hrs.
